About Thiruppugazh Anbargal

Thiruppugazh Anbargal are a group of devotees who have dedicated themselves to spreading the message of Thiruppugazh. Guruji Delhi Sri A.S. Raghavan set 503 of the available Thiruppugazh songs to music using over 100 Ragas and Taalas. Thiruppugazh, which means "Holy Praise" or "Divine Glory," is an anthology of Tamil religious songs dedicated to Lord Murugan, composed by the 15th-century poet-saint Arunagirinathar.  Thiruppugazh Anbargal aim to promote love, brotherhood, self-discipline, and unity through the devotional practice of singing Thiruppugazh. The movement has expanded beyond India, with classes and programs taking place in various countries, owing to dedicated disciples spreading the teachings in their communities.
