अजा क्षयविनिर्मुक्ता मुग्धा क्षिप्र-प्रसादिनी ।
अन्तर्मुख-समाराध्या बहिर्मुख-सुदुर्लभा ॥ १६२॥
त्रयी त्रिवर्गनिलया त्रिस्था त्रिपुरमालिनी ।
निरामया निरालम्बा स्वात्मारामा सुधासृतिः ॥ १६३॥ or सुधास्रुतिः
संसारपङ्क-निर्मग्न-समुद्धरण-पण्डिता ।
यज्ञप्रिया यज्ञकर्त्री यजमान-स्वरूपिणी ॥ १६४॥
धर्माधारा धनाध्यक्षा धनधान्य-विवर्धिनी ।
विप्रप्रिया विप्ररूपा विश्वभ्रमण-कारिणी ॥ १६५॥
विश्वग्रासा विद्रुमाभा वैष्णवी विष्णुरूपिणी ।
अयोनिर् योनिनिलया कूटस्था कुलरूपिणी ॥ १६६॥
वीरगोष्ठीप्रिया वीरा नैष्कर्म्या नादरूपिणी ।
विज्ञानकलना कल्या विदग्धा बैन्दवासना ॥ १६७॥
तत्त्वाधिका तत्त्वमयी तत्त्वमर्थ-स्वरूपिणी ।
सामगानप्रिया सौम्या सदाशिव-कुटुम्बिनी ॥ १६८॥ or सोम्या
Meaning of Shlokas 162-168
ajaa | She is unborn and is without birth and beginning; though as prakṛti, she changes her form. |
Kshaya-vinirmuktā | She is free from decay or death. |
Mugdhā | She who Is captivating in Her beauty |
Kshipra-prasādinī | she gives boon very fast to her devotees; Who is easily pleased. Kṣipra means quickly. |
Antarmukha-samārādhyā | She is worshipped by those who look within. |
Bahirmukha-sudurlabhā | She who is very difficult to attain for those who are not able to look within. |
Trayī | She who is in the form of three Veda-s. |
Trivarga-nilayā | She who prevails in all three factors of time, past, present and future. |
Tristhā
| She is present in all the triads, like Past, present and future; Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra; Creation, sustenance and dissolution; the three letters of ॐ a, u and m; or three guṇa-s – sattva, rajas and tams; icchā, jñāna and kriyā śaktī-s, etc. |
Tripuramālinī | Who is the Deity of the threefold circles in the Shri-chakra |
Nirāmayā | She is devoid of diseases affecting mind and body |
Nirālambā | She is not dependent on anybody for actions of creation, sustenance and dissolution/ आलम्ब support; |
Svātmārāmā | She rejoices in Her own Self |
Sudhāsrutih | She is the cause for the flow of nectar. When kundalinī reaches ājñā cakra, and energizes it, it causes illumination and a blissful state and one can feel the flow of nectar in the region of upper palate and throat. |
Samsāra-panka-nirmagna-samuddharaṇa-panḍitā | She is capable of rescuing men who are entangled in the mud-like materialistic life of saṃsāra. panka = mud; |
Yajña-priyā | She is fond of sacrifices. |
Yajña-kartrī | Yajña means sacrifice. She is in the form yajamānā’s wife. Yajamāna is the one who performs the yājña or for whom the yājña is performed, In an yājña, the performer is considered as Śiva Himself. His wife is Śaktī. |
Yajamāna-svarūpiṇī | She is in the form of yajamāna. In the eight forms of Śiva, His Rudra form is the form of fire. She is the yājña itself. |
Dharmā-dhārā | She is in the form of Dharma. |
Dhanādhyakṣā | Dhanādhyakṣā is Kubera, the lord of wealth. He is one of Her twelve great worshippers. Since there is no difference between the worshipper and the worshipped, She is said to be the Lord of wealth. |
Dhana-dhānya-vivardhinī | She is the increaser of wealth and granary. |
Vipra-priyā | She is fond of the learned and wise. Vipra means learned. |
Vipra-rūpā | Who is Herself the learned. |
Viśva-bhramana-kārini | Who causes, the universe to revolve in cyclic motion |
Viśvagrāsa | Who devours the universe at the end of the cycle |
Vidrumābhā | Who is like coral in complexion |
Vaishnavī | Who is Vaishnavi, the power of Vishnu |
Vishnurūpini | Who is Herself in the form of Vishnu |
Ayonih | Who has no source other than Herself |
Yoni-nilayā | Who houses the power that generates everything |
Kūṭasthā | Who is the changeless or eternal |
Kularupini | Who is the Deity of the Kaula sect |
Viragoshti priya | Who is fond of the assembly of the devotees of the heroic mode of worship. |
Vira | Who is Herself the Hero |
Naishkarmya | Who transcends work (Karma) |
Nadarupini | Who is the primal mystic sound |
Vigyana kalana | She who causes, awakens the Supreme knowledge and enables perceiving Knowledge by ‘Atmaanubhava’; Vignaana = Knowledge, wisdom; Kalanaa = causing; |
Kalya | Who is Benevolent, Auspicious - ready or prepared for (to take up creation); |
Vidagdha | Who is the wisdom displayed in all skills; Who is sharp, skilled - Who is a scholar (skilled to take up creation) |
Bainda vasana | Who is seated in the Bindu, the central dot in the Shri-chakra |
Tatvadhika | Who transcends Thathvas (Elements or principles of creation) |
Tatvamayi | She who is the thathvas (the reality) |
Tatvamartha svarupini | Who is one with the non-dual Being denoted by the words Tat and Tvam in the great Vedic sentence Tat-tvamasi |
Samagana priya | Who loves the chanting of Samaveda |
Saumya | Who is the object of worship in Soma sacrifice |
